promoter analysis of effective genes in negative energy balance in dairy cows

چکیده
this study was done to gain insights into transcriptional regulation of negative energy balance (neb) assoctiated genes. overexpressed genes in neb were identified using microarray and rna-seq data and promoter analysis of these overexpressed genes was applied to identify novel transcription factors. moreever, string database was used to construct a regulatory network of identified transcription factors. the results of the gene expression analysis revealed that eight genes in severe neb are more frequent and significant (p

Decreased concentration of plasma leptin in periparturient dairy cows is caused by negative energy balance.
Dairy cows suffer from an intense energy deficit at parturition due to the onset of copious milk synthesis and depressed appetite. Despite this deficit, maternal metabolism is almost completely devoted to the support of mammary metabolism. Evidence from rodents suggests that, during periods of nutritional insufficiency, a reduction in plasma leptin serves to co-ordinate energy metabolism. As an...
متن کاملInteractions between negative energy balance, metabolic diseases, uterine health and immune response in transition dairy cows.
The biological cycles of milk production and reproduction determine dairying profitability thus making management decisions dynamic and time-dependent. Diseases also negatively impact on net earnings of a dairy enterprise. Transition cows in particular face the challenge of negative energy balance (NEB) and/or disproportional energy metabolism (fatty liver, ketosis, subacute, acute ruminal acid...

15 صفحه اولNegative energy balance in dairy cows is associated with specific changes in IGF-binding protein expression in the oviduct
Negative energy balance (NEB) during early lactation in dairy cows leads to an altered metabolic state that has major effects on the production of IGF family members. Low IGF-I concentrations are associated with poor fertility and therefore we aimed to determine whether NEB exerts a direct effect on IGF expression in the postpartum oviduct. Multiparous Holstein cows were allocated to two treatm...
متن کاملExpression of metabolic sensing receptors in adipose tissues of periparturient dairy cows with differing extent of negative energy balance.
We recently showed that the mRNA expression of genes encoding for specific nutrient sensing receptors, namely the free fatty acid receptors (FFAR) 1, 2, 3, and the hydroxycarboxylic acid receptor (HCAR) 2, undergo characteristic changes during the transition from late pregnancy to lactation in certain adipose tissues (AT) of dairy cows. We hypothesised that divergent energy intake achieved by f...
متن کاملEffects of dietary cation-anion difference on milk fever, subclinical hypocal- cemia and negative energy balance in transition dairy cows
Objective of this study was to determine the effects of varying dietary cation-anion differences (DCAD) in prepartum period on milk fever, subclinical hypocalcemia and negative energy balance in dairy cows of Urmia, Iran. Ninety nine Holstein cows assigned to three groups (n=33) were fed diets with DCAD of -24 (anionic), +80 (cationic) and +230 (cationic) mEq/Kg dry matter for 3 weeks before ex...
